This one piece right axle kit from Alloy USA fits AMC 20 narrow track axles found in 76-83 CJ5, 76-81 CJ7, and 81 CJ8. Includes Right axle shaft, bearings, retainers, spacers, inner and outer seals, and studs.
Was very easy to install, as some one else mentioned the wheel studs where not attached to the hubs so you have to use an impact or a press, Really not that big of a deal but would have been nice to been done for you already.
I purchased this to replace my stock Dana 35 drive shaft that got shredded out on the trails here in central CO. I havent had a chance to go ride with these yet but its obvious that they are better than stock. I'll update the review if I have any issues.

Would have rated a 5 except the wheel studs were not installed. I do not have a press so I had to install with an impact. Not the best way but it works.

Install went excellent. Be sure to keep your spider gears secure.

Great price, great product!
Great up-grade! Replaced my bent rear axles. Kit comes with everything you need. *Make sure you have, or know someone with a press, so you can press in the wheel studs. Beat the heck out uf them, and they did great! 10 year warranty! I have a 2005 TJ with a B.D.S. lift, and running 33" 373 gears. Great product!

Acceptable, but not perfect
This is a great kit, other than the fact that there is no access hole to remove or install the retaining plate like there is on the factory units. This requires complete removal of the emergency brake shoes on dana 44s with disc brakes in order to get to the nuts.
Also, no retaining plates are included, which otherwise would make this a perfect kit for replacement of factory axles without removal of the bearings and seals from your stock axles. I would suggest buying them online or from your dealer, they're around $10 each.

I bought this Axle Kit for it's added strength without realizing that it eliminates my Axle Disconnect (Hubs). At the same time I also bought an Eaton E-Locker for use with this Axle Kit. What is the impact of eliminating my Axle Disconnect on highway driving, mileage and handling? I have a 1987 YJ with a SB Chevy 383, 700R4 trans 410 gears, NP231, and 35's. I want this to be a daily driver and hunting rig.

When installing a selectable locker you are supposed to replace the axles shafts with a one piece setup. As long as the locker is disengaged when driving on the road it will not effect the drive-ability. Please let us know if you have any other questions.
