The POWERAID Throttle Body spacer was developed to enhance mid-range power, torque, and fuel efficiency.
This has to be one of the easiest things to add to your jeep to help increase performance. It works very well with my K&N Cold Air Intake. I was very impressed.
Great product, does what they say it does, better performance and the gas milage is about 2 miles to the gallon better. Also works great with my K&N cold air system.
Install took less than 20 min.after installing on 1998 Sahara, better throttle response & as far as gas mileage, maybe 3-4 a gallon. Would recommend to any jeep owners !!
Installed on a 2011 Jeep Wrangler (Sport) with an MXP Airiad.
Little more throttle response and change the sound of the intake to sound more like air instead of whistle
Throttle body spacers have tehir share of haters, and I must admit that I was skeptical about how effective they really were. When gas prices shot up the last time, I finally bit the bullet and bought the Airaid PowerAid. I'm glad I did! Installation took me about 20 minutes, the kit included everything needed along with a great set of instructions. Right off the bat I noticed a real improvement in throttle response right off idle. At speed, it seems like it's able to hold gears longer before the transmission downshifts. I picked up a little MPG improvement as well. I did notice the tone of the intake changed a little, which some might find annoying, but I actually really like the new sound. Overall, I would definitely recommend the Airaid throttle body spacer. I don't know about other engines, but it sure makes a performance difference on the 4.0L Jeep engine!
noticed no difference
I noticed a tiny bit of pedal response from a stop. No change in gas mileage. It creates a whistling noise that others describe as a turbo whine. To me it sounds like brake squeakers on old rotors. Nails on chalk board kind of stuff.
Is this legal in CA?

How big is the opening on the Throttle Body Spacer? My Throttle Body has been bored out to 62 mm. I am wondering if the spacer is going to restrict my airflow rather than help it...

Hello, They don't list the opening size for the spacer. The way it's machined with the spiral pattern is a little smaller than the stock throttle body opening to give the air flow a spinning motion at a higher flow rate. Which gives you better performance at all throttle ranges.
