While you love modding your Jeep or truck, what you may not love so much is the hassle of getting everything connected while still keeping your vehicle safe. The last thing you need is a safety hazard such as wires bristling everywhere when you're rocking and reeling over rough terrain, when the slightest snag could pull your accessories free and even kill your ride, or possibly cause danger from loose electrical components. With that in mind, Advanced Accessory Concepts has been making components to simplify your electrical connections, and effectively maintain vehicle safety. With AAC trigger accessory control systems and AAC switch pods, you no longer need to run wires under the dash or through a vehicle firewall to hook up your accessories. AAC's trigger control systems come with a universal mount battery-powered RF remote, phone and tablet Bluetooth control and manual on/off switches easily accessible from the top of the case. As an Advance Accessory Concepts retailer, we also carry a wide range of Y connector harnesses from 6" to 36", not to mention extension connectors, overhead switch panels and connector kits.
Other than finding the best place to put the unit, it was a fast and easy to install. It worked as soon as power was hooked up. I used a fuse tap to connect the yellow (ignition switch control). The TJ makes this a little more difficult because it only has 4 mini-fuses. The fuse tap will only work on two of the fuses. The quality of the unit and the supplied wiring is truly amazing, to say it is excellent would be an understatement. The unit comes with most everything you will need except tie wraps and extra inline connect for the lights. The fact, you don’t have to go through the firewall is icing on the cake. The free APP works great on my Galaxy phone. The only problems I had was the grommet for fuses on the top of the unit was to large and made it difficult to get It line up properly. I will be buying another unit for my other Jeep soon.
