Advance Adapters Heavy-Duty Output Shaft - 50-3020

universal fit logo

Advance Adapters has developed this Dana 20 Heavy-Duty Output Shaft to eliminate the weaker 1-1/8 inch dia. shaft and replace it with the ultra-strong 1-3/8 inch dia. 32 spline one. It includes a 1310 Non-CV yoke and will work on all Dana 20 transfer cases. The overall length of the new tail housing to the center of the yoke is 7 inch. As an added bonus, the kit allows the use of different speedometer pinions to compensate for larger tires or gear changes. It can be added during a rebuild with lower gears or as an upgrade to a stock case.

Advance Adapters got its start in Downey, California in 1971 with a single adapter mating a Muncie car 4-speed to a Jeep Dana 18 transfer case. Eventually headers, overdrives, motor mounts and linkage brackets were added to the offerings to complement their core adapter components. When interest in rock crawling spiked in the mid-1990s, Advance Adapters offered low ratio transmission swaps then switched gears into the ultra-low gear transfer case arena. Today, the company is based in Paso Robles, California and their engine and transmission conversions for Jeeps are in kit form and sold as individual components. Shop Advance Adapters Now
