Drop Pitman Arm is recommended for the 4 Lifted Suspensions. When a vehicle is lifted above factory height, the steering system requires modification to compensate for new and increased angles. Skyjacker steering products are designed to decrease the new angles of lifted vehicles, therefore helping to retain the life of stock steering components, restore turning radius, eliminate bump steer and prevent frame damage. All forged steering products, made in the USA, are individually X-rayed and magnafluxed for guaranteed quality.
How long should this take to install?

Hello Michele, that's a tough question to answer. If you have a pitman arm remover sometimes the pitman arm will come off quick and easy, other times it takes some time, penetrating oil and extreme pressure to get one removed. If everything goes quick and easy you should have about 30-40 minutes in removing and replacing it. Please let us know if you have any other questions, thanks.
