These Hatch Covers fit directly over the existing gas cap opening. They attach directly to the original equipment plastic insert using self tapping screws. Some drilling required. Come in Locking and Non-locking.
Looks nice, easy to install
Looks great and less than 5 min. to install. Also like the magnetic latch so you don't have to keep it locked all the time.
will this locking fuel cover work with smittybilt rear XRC ARMOR for JK wrangler? are there any locking gas caps that will?

Do the provided screws screw in to the OEM plastic ring around the fuel cap, or are they going into the sheet metal?

Hello! This fuel hatch cover installs over the factory smooth cover. The new cover shows allen bolts on the outer ring which are fake bolts for looks only. The new cover screws to the old smooth cover on the inside when you open the dorr to the new cover so you don't see the screws. Very simple install with 4 screws. Thank you!
