Manufactured from 3/16" steel plate, this skid plate for the Jeep JK is designed to protect the front area of the Jeep including the vulnerable and expensive electronic sway bar disconnect offered on the Rubicon model. Easy bolt on installation and can be installed with the Body Armor bumper or stock bumper. Black Powder coat finish. For 2010-15 JK Wrangler, drilling is required.
This product makes any jeep look tough like a tank
Excellent quality. Bolted right on to my 2012 jeep JKUR. took about 10 minutes. Only issue is that it has BODY ARMOR 4X4 cut out and that allows alot of mud to be pushed through.
I modified it to make it pop with a custom red plate behind lettering. Otherwise you can not see the Letters AT ALL! So if you buy have a plan for that, the white lettering does not exist. I did red and it looks AWESOME!
Super easy to install and fantastic good looks. Completes my body armor front bumper perfectly.
Bought this to replace plastic wind dam. Saw three different ones. One was 1/16" too thin, one was a 1/4" which seemed way too heavy and this one at an 1/8". Weighs around 15 pounds I believe. I used jack stands to balance it up against the cross member. Took me a little while to figure that out. Once I did, install was easy.
Will this install with the Bestop HighRock 4x4 Narrow Style Front Bumper, BST44933-01?

Danimal, the Body Armor 4x4 Front Skid Plate is made specifically for the Body Armor front bumper or the stock bumper. Using it with either of those requires drilling and cutting, so you could make it work with the Bestop front bumper with the same modifications. I hope this helps!

Body Armor 4x4 produces extreme off-road equipment for Jeeps and trucks. The company was founded in the 1990s in Corona, California. Body Armor engineers its products to withstand the abuse of the trail over and over while personalizing the look of your rig. Body Armor popular products include Jeep bumpers with integrated winch plates and multiple light mounting points, Trail doors that are predrilled for aftermarket mirrors plus thick nylon webbing to protect passengers from scraping branches and a very secure two position latch, plus rock steps that also function as sliders. All Body Armor parts are built for durability with a dual process powdercoat oversprayed with a textured finish and undersprayed with an e-coat. So corrosion resistance is quite strong.
