Custom designed brackets bolt into existing holes on the windshield, relocating your mirrors off the door. The perfect add-on accessory for those off-road adventures where you do not want your doors. Each bracket kit for the 2007-12 Wrangler comes with a special paintable filler plate to cover up the hole created when you remove your mirrors. Sold in pairs.
The driver's side bracket works wonderfully with or without the doors. Unfortunately, they designed the passenger side bracket as a mirror of the driver's side. This does not work well as the viewing angles are quite different. Passenger side with the door is useless for anyone under seven feet tall, but they warned about that so I understand. They did not warn about the fact that even with the door removed you will not get much visibility out of the passenger side mirror. If the bracket on the passenger side was altered a bit to bend towards the rear or elevate the mirror it would be more useful without the door and also provide some visibility with the door.
I bought the relocation brackets so that I could have TWO mirrors while cruising doorless. Unfortunately, I cannot SEE the passenger mirror when the doors are on (which is all winter long). So if you want two mirrors when the doors are on OR off, look for another product.
Fast and easy to Install. Can Use the car without the doors. The only cons is that the passenger side mirror is out of the driver view. Have to install an extension in the passenger side.
simple to install but I'm not sure if they are simply for legal purposes, but even with my doors completely off, the passenger side mirror was not even visible. The driver side was usable, but not great. I guess it serves the purpose if you don't mind leaning over to use the passenger mirror or the cops are sticklers about having mirrors. Perhaps theres another piece that I need on the mirrors that I haven't found yet. I'm sure I can't be the only one.
Does this product allow for use of doors when installed? Or do I have to remove if I replace the doors. 2010 Jeep JK 4 door.

Randy, The Mirror Relocation Brackets are able to be used with the doors left on as long as the mirror is not installed back into the door. We do recommend using caution when using them with the doors as wind could catch it and open the door too far which would damage the door. Please let us know if you have any other questions. Thanks!

When mirrors are relocated...will the power adjustment still work?...if so, how do you run the wires to the new location

Hello, the Rugged Ridge Mirror Relocation Brackets are to be used with the non power adjustment mirrors. You would need to buy a set of the regular mirrors that are hand adjustable. They are #BST51261-01 can be found here: jo.my/jk_replacement_mirrors Thank you!
