Same tubes, new and improved mount plates. Awesome

I didn't know ACE changed the mounts, but they did. New design does not require any grinding of the washers. You could mount these start to finish in 10 minutes per side. Solid product, consistent welds. High quality sliders. VERY happy.

Solid Slider

The ACE-Engineering Rock Slider is a strong piece of gear. Took maybe an hour total to install both sides. Some grinding was needed to modify the body mount washers so they fit into the slider mount. They work well as a step for some of your shorter occupants. The fit and look with the Rubicon Rock Rail is very good. I think the product is worth the money, to know these won't get ripped off the first time down the trail. A couple of ACE Engineering decals would have been nice.... :)

Outstanding Experience

Very pleased with the product. Installed in just over an hour. Bought the product based on the ability to leave the factory Rubicon rails installed. Came exactly as advertised. Be prepared to grind the frame bolt washers. Would clearly recommend these rails especially to Rubicon owners.
