The youtube describes the installation of the 2.5 inch lift kit on a wrangler 4 dr. Does the 2.5 budget lift kit with shocks have a drive line issue with the 2 door 2012 wrangler sport.? With 33 inch tires, does this same kit need spacers for 15 inch wheels?

Asked by Toad Washer from Roseville , ca on

Toad Washer, you shouldn't have any drive line issues with the 2.5" Budget Boost Suspension System. depending on how wide the tires you go with will decide if you may need some spacers. The biggest issue I have heard about with 15" wheels on a JK is getting them over the brake caliper.

Will I need to purchase wheel spacers if I install this on a 2010 sport with stock 17" rims?

Asked by from on

Hello, No if you are just installing a budget boost kit you can still run the stock wheels and tires on it. You can put wheel spacers on if you want to give it a wider stance in appearance.

Can you tell me if Teraflex 2.5" budget boost is installed on 2012 Sahara will driveshafts need replaced and do I need to install wheel spacers on stock 18" rims with 35-12.50 tires? Have you installed this product on any 2012 Wranglers, if so have there been any complaints?

I have not done an install on a 2012 yet. Weather or not you need a drive shaft will depend on how you drive it. If you are taking it off road you may need to replace the driveshaft. If its main use is on road then you should be ok. Having never done an install on this year yet I can't honestly tell you if the tires will rub or not.
