Now, with the NEW All-Terrain Flat Fender Flares from Rugged Ridge you can add a bigger tire option for a true off road look. You can also use in combination with a suspension lift for maximum off road performance. These exciting new flares are out-of-the-box ready to turn your street Jeep into an off road machine. By removing your original flares and replacing them with these high clearance designs, you can run larger tires without interference from the flare. The ability to run a larger tire with little or no suspension lift means a lower center of gravity making our JK more stable, yet you still get greater ground clearance necessary for off road. With 1.5 inches less coverage in the front and 1 inch less in the rear these flares are slightly narrower than factory, yet still maintain proper tire coverage and aggressive looks. Constructed of a flexible UV treated high impact thermoplastic, these flares are designed for the trail and create a whole new look for your JK. Easy to install, these flares replace your factory flares, attaching to the factory mounting points with no drilling. Simply remove your original flares and add on the All Terrain flares. The kit also includes easy to install mounting brackets that allow you to relocate and use the existing factory side marker lights.
Bought the flare and liner kit last September. Out of the box I was happy with the look they gave my jeep. Flares went on no problem but the holes for the liners don't line up. After about 3 months I noticed the factory paint was peeling off of the flares. Also they aren't a very solid plastic/polymer material. Mine have multiple cracks and fractures just from daily driving.
After reviewing the installation instructions, the instructions state to remove the fender liner. Is it required to have fender liners in place with these?
Asked by Izz from Harmony on
Hey Izz, these can be ran with or without the inner liners. If you are going to reuse the factory inner liner then it will need to be cut to fit. Thanks for your question.

Do I also need to purchase the liner kit for the Rugged Ridge All Terrain Flat Fender Flares?
Asked by Jimmy from Orlando, FL on
Hi Jimmy It would be smart to use the liner kit RUG11620.50 with the flairs as it will help keep the mud and grime off the fender sheet metal. Thanks

Can these fenders be painted to match the paint? The specs say they are textured but one of the demo pics shows an orange JK where they are painted to match

Hi Ace! Yes, these Flat Fender Flares can be painted to match, even though they are textured. The installation instructions give a detailed explanation of how to accomplish this.
