These cast steel design Hinge Treatments will provide a new beefy look. Door and Hood Hinge covers feature an easy to install design. Replacing your existing hinges can break and crack the surrounding paint, as the hinges were painted at the factory after installation.
On the 2008 Jeep Wrangler, it takes a T-50 Torx socket to remove the fasteners. What type of fastener is used on this hinge cover?

How do these install over the existing hinges with out ruining the paint? Don't you have to take out the existing screws?

Hello EJ, The Rugged Ridge Door Hinge Cover Set will require you to remove the bolts. the easiest way is to cut the paint with a razor blade before you take the bolt out. Thanks for the inquiry.
