Original handle had broken inside where the rod linkage to the open mechanism connects to the handle, while installing the new handle in the door the new handle broke in the same place, this rod had to be snapped into place with a little bit of force, but broke the the tab off of the handle instead, now I have two broken handles
I assume this product(new exterior door handles) requires removal of inner door panel, window crank, etc. I need instructions for that. do you have door panel removal instructions, step by step?

Hippockets, to install this Outer Door Handle it does require you to remove the interior door panel. It's not a big job but Crown does not include install instructions with this part. There removal procedure will be different for full vs. half doors. Your best bet if you do not have one is to invest in a Repair Manual for your year model Jeep. This particular one give you instruction with pictures and diagrams (http://jo.my/repair_manual) for most repairs that are not to in depth. Also just to make sure that you get the correct parts you said window crank. This door handle is for a half door with with zip up windows. If you have a window crank you have full steel doors and would need this style of handle. http://jo.my/drivers_handle http://jo.my/passenger_handle I hope this information helps you out.
