Easy to install, but didnt improve handling at all. The old dual stabilizer made it handle better than new one.

Not for a modified steering system

I have the Teraflex steering system and thought this might work, but the brackets are not made to handle a larger diameter tie rod. There are clearance issues with the stabilizer that mount in the factory mount at the axle. This stabilizer kit probable work fine for an unmodified steering system with oversized tires.

Good Product!

Good beefy product. It takes care of bump steer and handling problems that comes with big tires. The bushings aren't the greatest though lasted about a year. If you drive in the rust belt during the winter make sure to paint them before install. The paint skyjacker uses isn't the greatest at fighting rust. Overall good product, preforms how it should.

i have a 2003 sport with a 4 inch lift with 31 inch tires on it i would like to put a duel stabilizer on it is it an over kill or will it work better then a single

Hi John The Fish, This dual stabilizer from Skyjacker works great, especially on lifted Jeeps. Some people go with the dual version more for looks and appearance, but it does do a great job on any TJ with larger than stock tires. Thanks for the inquiry.

I have a 2006 Rubicon with 3" lift and 33" tires. Just purchased a single steering stabilizer. Still have shimmy and walking issues. Would a double one work better? If so, does it match up to original parts or need modified?

Asked by Jeeper from Richmond, IN on

Sounds like you have other issues than needing a dual stabilizer. I would check all the tie rod ends and ball joints to see if they have alot of excess play in them first. To much air in tires will let it wonder also.
