Performance tuning is more difficult vehicles were the factory computer does not have a chip that can be easily replaced. To solve the problem JET developed a plug in module that attaches to the vehicle computer externally that can add up to 30 horsepower. The JET Module optimizes the ignition spark advance, air to fuel ratios and transmission shifting for the ultimate in power and mileage gains.

I have a stock 2001 Jeep Wrangler Sahara 4.0 with 46K miles. Which chip is compatible and what do I need to know about adding other enhancements?

Hello, This Jet Stage 2 module and thesuperchips will work with your model jeep, They are a plug and play so you can add on other parts and it wont affect the tuner. If you have anymore questions feel free to ask, Thank you.

I want to get the most power I possibly can out of my 2002 wrangler tj x, it has a 4 inch lift with 33 inch tires and a cold air intake. Do you recommend stage 1 or stage 2 of these performance modules?

Asked by Sam from Texas on

Hello Sam, You would want to use the Jet Performance Products Stage 2 Jeep Performance Module. However my recommendation would be to get a programmer. It will let you adjust shift points and tune your computer. Also you can change the tune on it at anytime to adjust for your needs. You might want to look into a Superchips or Bullydog to name a couple.
