Trail Master suspension systems are uniquely designed to allow vehicles to take on the most extreme off-road trails, yet remain quiet and dependable for everyday driving. To do this, we design our systems to limit excessive wear and tear on factory ball-joints, steering components and reduce noise and vibrations. Making sure everything is durable and reliable is why our suspension systems include items such as, high-grade alloy steel- tube control arms, Flex-joint bushing technology, precision laser cut bolt-holes, CNC machined spindles, CNC press-brake formed brackets, and much more. Our suspension systems also come complete with everything required to properly raise your vehicle without having to order or purchase extra components. Find out why more people prefer a quality Trail Master Suspension, than other suspension kits on the market.
I installed this kit on my wife's '01 TJ. Overall it's pretty straight foward. The directions are good until you get to the shifter drop bracket. It took me awhile to figure that out. It's the "I" shaped bracket bolted to the driver side of the trans tunnel. I also stripped the threads out of two of the nut inserts for the trans skid plate/cross member. Also there is no mention of how to re-attach the front track bar to the axle housing. I decided to drill a new hole. Also make sure that the front stabilizer link bolts don't conflict with the frame when you lower the vehicle to the ground. Other than those couple items the job goes as planned. It's just nuts and bolts. Take your time and be safe.
The rear upper shock bolts were a pain. And getting the rear coils in were also a pain. I also had to drill a hole for the front track bar since it wouldn't go back in.I measured 3/4 of an inch and drilled a hole big enough for the bolt to go through.I can't find anything that isn't so great about the lift yet. Nothing has broken and I hope it stays that way
The kit was installed on my personal Jeep. The Trailmaster Kit was complete but I added a couple of parts. GDRD-FBL-48 Front extended brake lines GDRDRBL-48 Rear Extended brake lines R/ERE1600 Front adjustable track bar EXP20-65226 Front cam bolts EXP20-65225 Rear cam bolts Some of the bolts on the transmission skid plate will break. We soaked them down with PBR and got lucky when we only had two break. Be ready with some inserts and a welder You will need them. The rear upper shock bolts will give you trouble as well. The Trailmaster kit has a great ride quality and a great price i would buy this kit again if needed.
is going with the cheaper kits worth it.You usually get what you pay for.

Does this kit include two track bar relocation brackets? It shows two brackets in the picture that I assume are the track bar brackets. I'm familiar with the rear relocation bracket, but is one for the front included as well or will this kit require that I drill another hole in the factory track bar mount?

Hi Jeeper, This Trail Master 4.0_ Inch Lift Kit with NCG Shocks is 4" over stock height, so we recommend a yoke slip kit on the back of your transfer case and a CV style driveshaft to work with it. It's recommended but not always required, here are those parts and thanks for your inquiry.http://www.4wd.com/Jeep-Drivetrain-Jeep-Axles-Differentials/NP231-Tail-Shaft-Conversion-Kit.aspx?t_c=12&t_s=512&t_pt=7779&t_pn=EXP4007http://www.4wd.com/Jeep-Drivetrain-Jeep-Axles-Differentials/CV-Style-Drive-Shaft.aspx?t_c=12&t_s=515&t_pt=4925&t_pn=EXP4042
