Will this kit work on a 1996 Cherokee XJ with the Chrysler 8.25 axle? Thank you.

I called SSBC just to double check and was told that this Stainless Steel Brakes Rear Drum to Disc Brake Conversion Kit will also work with the 8.25 axle.

Answered by Jason L from Navarre,Oh on

Are there any other parts needed to complete this conversion?

Asked by Droptank from Rocky Hill,Ct. on

Droptank, this Stainless Steel Brakes Rear Drum to Disc Brake Conversion Kit is a complete kit and should have everything you need to install. You can use your factory e-brake cable. SSBC does recommend that if you wan to really fine tune your brakes you get the adjustable proportioning valve. You can find it here. http://jo.my/ssbcpv
