Performance tuning is more difficult vehicles were the factory computer does not have a chip that can be easily replaced. To solve the problem JET developed a plug in module that attaches to the vehicle computer externally that can add up to 30 horsepower. The JET Module optimizes the ignition spark advance, air to fuel ratios and transmission shifting for the ultimate in power and mileage gains.
What kind of performance increase can someone with a completely stock jeep expect in terms of mpg and hp?

John, at peak operation on this Jet Stage 1 Dodge/Jeep Performance Module it looks like about a 10 hp. gain, JET doesn't give an actual MPG gain. It's really hard to get M.P.G. up with out sacrificing performance and get performance with out sacrificing M.P.G.

what is the difference between stage 1 and stage 2 Module?
Asked by rickiee from san antonio,TX on
The stage 1 module is designed for stock or mildly modified vehicles. Fuel and timing curves are modified for optimal performance and mileage using less expensive, lower octane fuels. The stage 2 module is designed for performance enthusiasts and features more aggressive programming to make the most horsepower and torque available. Stage 2 modules require use of 91 octane fuel, 180 degree thermostat and free flow exhaust. Thanks!
