what does the nock sensor do for a 1997 2.5 4 cylinder engine
dewayne from seffner fl on
Hello, a knock sensor is designed to detect harmful engine vibrations caused when a spark from the spark plug does not ignite the fuel properly causing the engine to run roughly which can cause serious damage. The knock sensor is commonly connected directly to the vehicle's on-board computer. Together, these components constantly monitor and adjust the engine for maximum operating efficiency. Thank you!
