I'm wondering if these gears will fit my '04 Jeep Wrangler X, it has a standard DANA 35 rear end. I'm just not sure about the spline count. How do I know if I have 27 splines? Please help me! Thank you in advance!

Hi Buddy, This Dana Spicer Dana 35 Open Differential Internal Kit fits great on the '04 X TJ which has 27 spline axles as original equipment on the Dana 35 rear axle. Thank you for your inquiry.

How can I find out if my jeep has the 27 spline or another size? Its a 2004 Jeep Wrangler X. It has a Dana 35 rear and a Dana 30 front. Its the !6 4.0l w/ auto tran. Thanks

Buddy, to ensure the Dana Spicer Dana 35 Open Differential Internal Kit fits, you will need to pull the shafts out and count the splines if you are unsure of your current setup.

my jeep axles do not have c-clips,,, had to slide hammer an axle out,, will these gears work, or if not- do you carry the ones that will?

Asked by Trev from Niagara falls , NY on

Hi Trev The Dana 35 Differential Gear Set is only 1994 and newer. You would need the CRO83503002 gears. Thanks
