Have you lifted your Jeep and now have drive shaft vibration problems? Install this Slip Yoke Eliminator kit and reduce or eliminate that annoying noise and vibration. Transfer case tailshaft length is reduced by 6.5 on '97-'03 Wranglers and 4.25 on '88-'95 Wranglers reducing the driveline angles. Kit comes with a heavy-duty rear output shaft which is shorter and has 18% larger spline diameter and a 54% increase in torque capacity. New aluminum rear output housing, bearings, seals, snap rings, bolts and instructions. *Some models may require mode fork shift rail to be shortened.
The bell housing was cast incorrectly. Manufacturer does not care last rugged ridge part I will buy. Had to take it back apart after install to ream out housing to make it shift.
The bell housing was cast incorrectly. After little to no support from the manufacturer, I had to fix it. I had to grind away material from the inside of the bell housing to get the transfer case to work properly. Apparently I just got a bad one. I was not pleased that I had to do extra work on a brand new part. I'm just glad I checked it out before re-installing in the vehicle.
Great SYE, easy to install.

Hi Nacy, This Rugged Ridge NP 231 Slip Yoke Eliminator Kit works great on the YJ Wranglers but its usually needed on kits 4" or higher. You'll also need the CV style driveshaft for it, here's the link and thanks for the inquiry. http://www.4wd.com/Drivetrain-Differential/CV-Style-Drive-Shaft.aspx?t_c=12&t_s=515&t_pt=4925&t_pn=EXP4040

I have a 1995 YJ Sahara. It has a 3.5 inch lift and I am installing 35 inch tires. The transfer case was lowered with spacers as part of the lift kit installation and I would like to move it back up to its original position. Do I need this kit to accomplish that. Anything else I would need? (FYI I am doing some minor body mods and front wheel spacers to accommdate the larger tires.) Thanks.

Hi Az-YJ the Rugged Ridge NP231 Slip Yoke Eliminator Kit will put it back at the stock hight but you will need to install this then measure for a drive shaft and order a custom drive shaft for the jeep. If you have any other questions feel free to ask. Thanks,

Hello Josh, With these slip yoke eliminators you will have to use the 1310 joint, we do not have a setup with the 1330. If you have anymore questions feel free to ask, Thank you.
