Fits standard columns. This switch may require the use of the original wiring plug to fit some applications. Includes switch with wiring harness and plug end.
Need steering wheel puller. Lock plate is difficult to remove without special tool, but it can be done. Once you get to the switch, replacement is easy. It is helpful to tie a string to the old wiring when you pull it out of the column. The string can then be used to pull the new wiring in. Getting the wiring connector to snap into the old receptacle required gentle force.
Is this the turn signal switch I need for my 1983 CJ7 with tilt steering column (floor shift) and is there anything else I need?

Steve, the Omix-Ada Turn Signal Switch will work with your Jeep just fine. You won't need anything else to install this. I hope this helps!

where can i find a diagram showing what each color wires are for?
Asked by john from on
Hello, For that diagram you will need a chiltons or a breakdown manual. We off the chiltons but I do not have a wiring breakdown manual. If you have anymore questions feel free to ask, Thank you.
