You can find install info all over the internet but still would be good to have a small installation instruction sheet. You need to assemble the bearing on to the plastic housing prior to installing on the shaft.
I rebuilt the steering column on my 1985 CJ7 and this was an exact replacement for the lower bearing assembly. Make sure you pay attention to the direction it goes on when you're installing it as it takes a puller to remove it.
is there a replacement bearing for the upper end of the steering shaft ?

What size steering shaft is the bearing for? I bought my column from a swap meet and am not sure what year or vehicle it is from. My column has a 3/4" dia. shaft. The parts look identical to mine.
