All Classic Tube Brake Lines are manufactured with computer precision on state-of-the-art programmable tube benders, insuring exact duplication of original lines to factory specifications. Aircraft quality lines are made from seamless 304 grade stainless steel, double annealed tubing. Lines are pressure tested and have a 6,000 psi burst. All lines include stainless steel fittings. Gravel guard spring steel is used on many of the lines to protect them from stones and gravel common on the road and trail. Rubber hoses not included. Compatible with all Dot approved brake fluids. *Note: For model years 1981-82, please know if your axles are the wide or narrow trac type.
I have an 82 CJ7 with wide track axles. Is this the correct product to replace the brake lines?

1) What is the best way to determine wide / narrow track? 2) What exactly is included in the kit?
Asked by Gregg from Massachusettes on
Hello Gregg, the easiest way to tell if the Jeep has a wide or narrow track axle in it is to look at the distance from the back side of the wheel brakes backing plate to the wheel side of the spring perch where the leaf spring is mounted to the axle housing. If it is a wide track axle the space between there will be like 4-5" inches the narrow track has only like an 1-1.5" space. The kit includes all the hard lines for the front and back wheels and the line that run from the front to the back wheels. There are no rubber lines included and no attaching clips. Thank you!
