Why wouldn't this conversion work with a 76 CJ5 (as its only listed for a CJ7) with the AMC20 axle with the moser 1 piece axle upgrade? Both vehicles are a narrow track with the AMC20 Axle.

Craig, I apologize for the confusion. The Stainless Steel Brakes Disc Brake Conversion Kit will work with the CJ5 and CJ7 with the one piece axles. Please let us know if you have any other questions. Thanks!

Was wondering if this kit is compatable with the Moser 1 piece axels? Also what will need to be done to the curent break backing plate since its already installed. 1981 CJ-7 258cdi model 20 rear Axel / 30 front 5 speed manual (T-5)

Hi Jeffrey, Yes, this brake conversion kit is designed for the 1 piece axle upgrade including the Moser version. You will use the specific backing plate that comes with the new kit, the one used on your Jeep now will need to be cut off. Thanks for the inquiry.
