This tachometer has a switch on the back of it to enable the use of 4, 6, and 8 cylinder engines. This gauge does not: wire the same as the original tachometer, and does not have colored bands along the top of the numbers. Due to the design of this gauge, the bottom most part of the gauge does not illuminate. Reads 0-6000 RPM and comes with all mounting hardware.
I have a 1976 cj7 304 auto with factory wiring harness. How do I wire the after market crown tach?

My 1986 Laredo has an original factory tach, is this product the same diameter? Would it fit in the same cavity the old one does? Thanks

Holguin, the Crown Automotive Replacement Tachometer is a factory replacement, so will fit in the same spot without modification. Thanks for the question!
