do you have the height/width specs for this rollbar? My cj5 has a factory hardtop, and I want to make sure the rollbar isn't too high. Thanks!

Asked by tom from fairbanks, ak on

Hello Tom, I do not have the specs on the Rock Hard Hoop however it is built to the factory specs and will work with the hardtop. If you have anymore questions feel free to ask, Thank you.

What is the tubing diameter, what is the wall thickness, and is the tubing DOM Tubing? The Jeep is a 1971 CJ5, which I am rebuilding/partially restoring as a daily driver - previously the Jeep was a "dedicated trail rig". It currently has a 1" suspension lift (soon to be swapped for a stock set of four Jeep Cherokee rear leaf packs and hopefully no lift), 33" tires, Small Block Chevrolet 350, SM420 Chevrolet Transmission, Spicer 18 Transfer Case, Dana 44 Front Axle w/ a Detroit Locker, Dana 44 Rear Axle w/ Full Spool (but being replaced with an open differential). There has been 'some' body trimming, with more to come - but everything is massively reinforced, and shouldn't be of concern with this project.

Hello, The Rock Hard 4x4 Parts Replacement Factory Style Hoop uses 2" .120 wall DOM tubing. Please let us know if you have any other questions. Thanks!
