The WARN Premium Hub is a no-compromise hub designed for the hardcore off-roader or truck owner who will accept nothing less than the industry standard in performance. The all metal construction and ZA Alloy dial ensure years of reliable functioning. This dial requires a full 9/10ths of a turn to ensure positive engagement of the inner drive gear to the clutch ring. To make sure they stay engaged, WARN premium hubs use a thick internal wave spring and heavy dial detents. We know our premium hubs will be used hard, so we build them to last. We're so confident, that all WARN hubs are covered by a lifetime limited warranty.
You need to reuse the bolts that hold the unit to the axle but it comes with gasket, the small hext bolts. Remember to use lock tight even on the little bolts. First locker took me 30 minutes, second one 10 minutes.
Replaced an ancient set of these on my '75 CJ-5 Jeep. Very easy to replace... jacked the front end, unbolted and removed the old ones, bolted on the new. Just be sure you have a retaining ring tool, it is almost impossible without one and a snap with it.
Does this hub set come with the spring and gear that locks the hubs? is it internal or does it require a separate spring to be purchased? I have purchased this hub set, but it does not look like what came out of my Dana 30.

Tom, The Warn Premium Manual Locking Hubs will come with everything that is needed to install. They may look different than stock but they are the correct ones if you have a CJ between 1972 and 1980. Please let us know if you have any other questions. Thanks!

I am curious if this hub set comes with everything new to mount it as well, essentially what's in the box is what I am curious about?

In 1948, Arthur Warn founded Warn Industries to construct locking hubs for surplus World War II Jeeps. Ten years later, the Warn winch was manufactured to fill the need for a reliable recovery tool to aid off-roaders stuck in challenging situations. Since then, Warn has grown to offer a wide range of gear with the hallmarks of durability and affordability. 1988 spawned the aftermarket industry's first ATV winch and today their PowerSports line of winches ranks among the most esteemed in the industry and jeepers call on Warn for electric, hydraulic and severe duty components that get the job done.
