Question & Answers

Would this be more or less efficient as a puller or pusher? I want the optimum performance for my CJ/SB350 with the aluminium radiator. Thanks.

Hello! In the case of this fan, we suggest trying both mounting locations and see which method produces the best cooling for you. A pulling setup seems to be the best for our customers, and data suggests a 20% increase in efficiency, but since you have the ability we suggest you try both and see how it works out.

i have a 89 wrangler with a chevy 350 (330HP), would this fan mount in a wrangler? could anyone recommend a Fan if this one would not fit. thanks

Greg, I am pretty sure you can mount this 4WheelDrive Hardware 16" Fan and Shroud Kit but I don't know if it is best suited for what you are trying to do. If you can let us know a couple of things we can make a recommendation. Do you want a pusher or puller fan? How much room do you have between the radiator and the motor? What are the dimensions of the radiator you will be using? If we have those questions answered we can make a recommendation for you.
