Was really surprised how well this worked. The only problem was that the line from the master cylinder to the front axle flex hose could be 3/8" longer. I had to tweak the mounting bracket on the frame just a little.
I have "59" CJ5. It had 9" brakes. In "75 or 76" brake kit to convert to 11" brakes. I am replacing the steel brakes lines this time. Do you know, if the brake kit, used different lines. Or did the change go from the backing plate out? I would like to buy and not have to make. Can you help?

Hi there Dennis!
You should be fine with this kit for your 1959 CJ5. The only difference should be the diameter of the backing plates used on the larger brakes. If everything lined up and installed correctly during the conversion, and you are currently using the factory '59 lines, then these replacements will fit the bill perfectly.
