For over 100 years, the Borgeson Universal Company has been manufacturing steering universal joints and components for various markets including automotive. In 2001, the company purchased Mullins steering gears and merged the two businesses into their South Carolina-based facility. Steering shafts for Jeeps are critical components that often don't get the attention they deserve and Borgeson's lineup corrects weaknesses in steering systems. Many OEM steering shaft assemblies simply are not equipped for oversized tires and wheels and Borgeson's direct bolt-on, adjustable, upper and lower shafts get the job done. There are different fits to accommodate Jeep models ranging from JKs to CJs to TJs and more.
