Bilstein’s technically superior, patented monotube gas charged design allows excessive heat from the oil to transfer to the outer surface of the shock body and dissipate more efficiently. The dividing piston also permits the oil to expand as heat builds, preventing foaming and viscosity loss.   5150 Cross-Flow Reservior Shocks

  Designed specifically for lifted Jeeps, the Bilstein® 5150 Series Shock is the first production shock absorber that mounts the remote reservoir directly to the shock body, eliminating hose leaking and failure. The Cross-Flow Reservoir increases oil capacity, allowing the shock to run cooler in extreme off-road conditions while the adjustable shock mounts allow the shock body to be rotated so that the reservoir can be located in the optimal position on your Jeep. Other features include Advanced Design Split Valving, a huge 46 millimeter working piston, a hardened chrome piston rod, and a Platinum Powdercoat finish. Limited Lifetime Warranty.

  Medium-duty remote reservoir shocks for stock mounting points. Direct-fit to each specific vehicle application, avoiding the fabrication generally associated with being able to run a high performance reservoir shock. For lifted trucks and SUVs with light to moderate off road use.
