ARB originated in the 1970s, when adventurous off-roaders began to realize the dangers of exploring Australia’s treacherous northern coast on four wheels. The continent’s isolated and rugged “Top End” appealed to 4-wheel-drive enthusiasts, but it also took its toll on their equipment. ARB was established to give these adventurers the quality parts they needed to explore Australia’s Top End without suffering expensive equipment failure.
