Kentrol’s heavy duty single wall constructed bodies feature a 3/16" thick panels in a tough gloss white gel-coat finish which can be sanded and painted to your liking. There are steel reinforcement plates "glassed in" at the body mounting locations, windshield, door, and tailgate hinge locations to ease installation of these body components. Bodies with the optional tailgate-opening feature a concealed steel frame "glassed inside" the fiberglass for strength and reinforcement. The firewall also features thick steel plates that reinforce the mounting of the brake and clutch mechanisms.

Fenders include inner wheel well attached to outer fender as a one piece fender. Available as Standard Fender, Standard Fender w/ Stock Fiberglass Flare attached or Rock Crawler version with cutout s for tire clearance.

Hoods feature reinforcement ribs and steel backing plates at the hinge and hood catch areas. Available in Standard or Cowl Induction Hood.

Thie one piece front end has no provisions for front tilting or radiator mounting. Note: use 4wd part# 119500 for front tilting hood kit with radiator mount or 4wd part# 77786 for radiator support bracket only. Note: front tilting hood will not work with winches. Rerouting of underhood wiring required. Fender mounted components must be relocated to body. The front frame mounted accessories, winches or bumpers with risers or brush guards will not permit use of this one piece front end assembly.

Kentrol's new 3" tubular line has the same quality as all their other products. In fact, Kentrol's stainless steel may be the brightest, mirror-like pieces available. Constructed from quality 304 grade stainless, the highly polished finish includes welded areas, stainless steel mounting brackets and mounting hardware. The tubular bumpers are fully enclosed with polished stainless ends. Note: bumpers do not come with light mounting tabs.

This roll bar will work in steel or fiberglass bodies. It will also only work with later style of rear sport bar, which is Type B. *Please note type of factory sport bar. 1979 could have been equipped with either style factory bar.
