This skid plate is specifially made for the Rubicon model, when removing the facory "bash bar". This skid plate is made for maximim ground clearance, and protects the electronic sway bar disconnect.

Kilby Skid Plates offer the ultimate in tank protection. These skid plates are built from 3/16" thick steel plate that is laser cut, formed and welded together. The stock tin shield is removed and discarded. Using the stock mounting locations will keep the installation time down to a minimum. The TJ Gas Tank Skid Plate allows 3/4" more shock clearance on the driver side while raising the fuel tank up 1" for increased clearance. All Kilby Skid Plates have departure angles built in to aid in sliding over obstacles, four drain holes and the factory straps are used to secure the tank to the skid plate. On 1976-95 CJ & YJ Wrangler skid retains the stock fuel tank position. TJ Skids 1997-02 Wranglers fit without a body lift but 2003-05 Wranglers will require a 1" Body Lift due to the model year changes. Available in Durable black powder coat finish.

Protect your body mounts! Kilby Body Clamz sandwich the factory body mount brackets with a 3/16" top bracket and lower skid plate. The leading and trailing edge of each skid is angled upward to give better approach and departure angles for sliding over rocks. Body Clamz sit off the frame rail far enough to work with any aftermarket suspension bracketry and will work with or without a body lift. Black Powdercoat finish. Stainless Steel hardware included.

Kilby Bumpers are laser cut from 3/16" steel, formed on a CNC press, and finished in satin black powder coat. Clevis mounts are machined from 1" thick steel and fully welded. Winches can be mounted directly to the bumper. Roller Fairlead Mount, part #RFM1, sold separately (see below).

The Kilby Fairlead Mount is 1/4" laser cut steel and bent on a CNC press. This Fairlead Mount is gusseted to prevent bending and is finished in satin black powder coat to match the Kilby Front Bumpers.

Add your front license plate back to your winch bumper. This Kilby quick mount license plate bracket allows easy removal and installation of your front plate. The license plate bracket clips to the winch roller fairlead and requires no tools to install and remove.

The unique design of the Kilby Rocker Guards not only protects the vulnerable rocker panels of your Jeep but can also be used as a step that doesn’t rob you of any ground clearance. Because the Rocker Guards go from fender flare to fender flare they also help protect the sides of your Jeep from debris flying off the front tires. Rocker Guards are constructed of laser cut 3/16" steel with a support plate welded inside for crush resistance. A 3/16" backing plate (not just washers) is used in the interior to distribute any impact over a wider area, and stainless steel rivnuts are used for easy installation and corrosion resistance. Make sure you have enough power for winching, running lights, your CB and listening to tunes on the trail. On 2000-05 TJ’s with AC you will need to have the system discharged and have the new AC line in the kit installed and the system recharged again. On 1997-98 TJ’s with AC you will have to have the line modified by an AC shop because the line is welded to the top of the accumulator and the line from Kilby won’t fit.

Need more gauges or switches? This Kilby Center Switch Pod will hold up to three 2" gauges or switches and gauges. Center Pod mounts in place of the coin tray at the top center of your TJ dashboard.
