There are a couple of things that can slightly help fuel economy. First is a programmer. This allows you to reprogram the CPU and lose some performance, but gain some fuel economy. The second is an open air intake and throttle body spacer. This will allow the vehicle to breathe easier and atomize the fuel. Lastly would be re-gearing the axles based on vehicle tire size. Each of these are typically 1-3 mpg mods. However, keeping your foot out of it is needed also.

This is a common issue caused by the carburetor. If you are lucky it is a choke needing reset. If the choke is set ok, I would recommend a weber carb to fix the issue. The factory carburetors were computer controlled and typically the electrical goes bad.

This is one of three things… 1) a bad speaker 2) a speaker is unplugged 3) the radio is out of adjustment.

It is not recommended. I would be concerned with the trans burning up. Also, with the weight of a 30ft camper loaded, the motor does not really put out enough torque.

In my experience with my '97, it was either the O2 sensors going bad or the idle air control sensor could be bad or dirty.

This is more than likely a bad axle shaft u-joint.
