Now that’s convenient! Just plug in to the Lighter socket and charge! The BC12 automatically “steps up” the input voltage from 12V to a peak of 14.7V when the battery is fully charged. The SLA battery can be charged even when the vehicle engine is not running (Provided power is maintained to the unit). This is a must for many situations where main power is unavailable.
