Comments about Omix-Ada Replacement Glove Box:

Simple to install. Just hold in place, pilot drill, install screws. 10 Minute job at most.
Only downside--must remove dashpad and take about 1/2 of instrument panel screws out to flex panel enough to get box in place---but not difficult at all! Much nicer box than the original cardboard wonder that dissolves the 1st time it gets rained on!!

Comments about Omix-Ada Replacement Glove Box:

The screws shipped with the box are not sharp enough to cut into the plastic. I drilled a small pilot hole and everything was perfect.

I tried to install the plastic replacement glove box in my 1986 CJ7 and the space is too small. I don't think this is the right part. can you provide me some instructions if it is?

                      A:

Hapsharley, this should be the correct Omix-Ada Replacement Glove Box for your CJ7. Are you trying to push it in from the front? The correct way to install is from the back side of the dash. It should be as easy as sliding the glove box over the tabs on the back of the dash and screwing it into place.
