Custom design bolts directly to factory mounting points on the rear of the vehicle, very similar design to the OE Receiver Hitch. Durable powdercoat design sheds water and provides a long lasting rust free finish. Includes cutout for factory wiring harness mounting. Designed as a one-piece welded assembly for added strength, we built our hitch receiver to match the towing capacity of your Jeep: 3,500-lb tow rating, 350-lb tongue weight rating with weight distributing equipment; otherwise 2000-lb tow rating, 200-lb tongue weight rating, 2 opening."

    Comments about Rugged Ridge 2" Receiver Hitch:

    Was very easy to install, didn't even need the directions, it was obvious how to install it. The picture showed nuts welded to the hitch. They were not, but was still a simple install.

    Wiring harness was easy too. (I did look at the directions for a quick minute)

        Hello MK!
        Directly on the tongue, which is how your racks will mount, would be 350lbs. This may or may not exceed the capacity of the rack you are using, so make sure to check with the mfg of the device before overloading it.
