ATK remanufactured long blocks are fully remanufactured using the highest quality replacement parts and expert workmanship. ATK is currently the only North American engine re-manufacturer who has earned the prestigious ISO/TS16949 certification.

AK engines have over 150 processes involved in manufacturing. Rigorous procedures include the following: All engine blocks are magnafluxed, bored, precision honed and mains are line-honed. The camshaft bearings are line-bored for accurate center-to-center clearance, all blocks and cylinder heads are precision surfaced, cylinder heads magnafluxed & machined for three- angle valve seats. All crankshafts are stress-relieved, precision ground and micro polished. Camshafts are precision ground or replaced with new. Each engine is tested for compression, oil pressure, oil leaks, engine noise, and general operating condition before shipment.

For your engine core return, the engine core needs only to be the same type as the ATK engine supplied, complete and with no visible damage and be able to turn over 360 degrees. Core pickup is easy. Place it in the crate and call the pickup number provided with the bill of lading. We pay the freight back. We will contact you after the sale for your vehicle VIN number, cylinder block and head casting numbers.
