Would have rated a 5 except the wheel studs were not installed. I do not have a press so I had to install with an impact. Not the best way but it works.

Great up-grade! Replaced my bent rear axles. Kit comes with everything you need. *Make sure you have, or know someone with a press, so you can press in the wheel studs. Beat the heck out uf them, and they did great! 10 year warranty! I have a 2005 TJ with a B.D.S. lift, and running 33" 373 gears. Great product!

            • Q:

I have 1994 jeep xj country edition with dana 35 in rear and dana 30 in front. I am putting a 6.5" rough country x series lift on it. I would like to run 35" tires but am afraid i will snap an axle shaft when offroading because i have stock shafts. I have the 3.55 gears in it. I am regearing it to 4.10s for more power to spin bigger tires. Is this chromoly axle shaft strong enough to handle 35" tires? Or do you suggest going with 33" tires? I have plenty of room for 35's as i have the bushwacker flat style fender flares. I currently have 31" tires with an 2 "lift. I am buying these chromoly shafts and your pro comp extreme mt2's and need advice on wether to go with the 33's or 35's

                A:

94Jeep, the Alloy USA Dana 35 Chromalloy Rear Axle Kit will beef up the D35 enough to make running 35's safer. With the gear ratio you're planning though I would stick with 33's because 4.10's won't be enough to move the 35's. Let us know if you have any other questions!
