Comments about Body Armor 4x4 Rear Bumper:

Very well constructed and looks great on my Red Jk. Poor Instruction where I had many screws and bolts with no place to put them. I called the factory in Corona, CA and they were very willing to discuss my challenges. The instructions dictate one thing about use of exist bolts but the factory said not to pay any attention to that??? IMHO; Care should be given so that what you ship is appropriate for the year, make & model with out leading the consumer down a dark path. The instructions are very brief with not enough illustrations. More pictures would have saved me, I think... I had to purchase bolts to fit the lug nuts in order to mount the spare tire.

Comments about Body Armor 4x4 Rear Bumper:

Bought this to replace the stock JK rear after tearing it mostly off on a stump. New B/A is solid and tight to the body which leaves much less bumper to smash down on rocks and yes... stumps. Only issue is it is real tight against the stock plate holder. Doesn't mention anything in the directions about modifying the plate holder so used a jack to lift the bumper to get the final bolt in. Awaiting the swing arm which is currently on back order. Overall very happy with the purchase.

what is the difference between jk-2394 and jk-2395 besides price ??

        A:

        Hi Benjie,
These Body Armor bumpers are very similar, but they each use a specific tire mount swing arm.
If you get the 2394 you'll need B/AJK5294, if you get the bumper that ends with 2395 it only
works B/AJK5295. Hope this helps, thanks for the inquiry.

    • Q:

Can I continue to use the factory spare tire mount after I install this bumper? Or am I required to use the bumper-mounted spare tire carrier?

        A:

HI Chester the Body Armor 4x4 Rear Bumper can be used with your stock tire carrier. If you wanted to use the swing away tire carrier the part number is B/A5294. Your stock tire carrier can only hold up to a 33in tire if you run bigger you will have to get the swing away. If you have any other questions feel free to ask. Thanks,
