Overview

This box has 16:1 ratio and fits with O-Ring style hose connection. The Super Box 1 has become known as the Rock Crawler special. It's manufactured with a larger piston, giving it the ability to turn large tires and overcome locking differentials. A 16:1 turning ratio(about 3-1/2 turns of the wheel stop to stop) allows for low effort and quick steering compared to the stock CJ steering box's 20:1 ratio(about 4-1/8 turns to stop). Super Box 1 is primarily designed for off-road use only.
