    You can find install info all over the internet but still would be good to have a small installation instruction sheet. You need to assemble the bearing on to the plastic housing prior to installing on the shaft.

    I rebuilt the steering column on my 1985 CJ7 and this was an exact replacement for the lower bearing assembly. Make sure you pay attention to the direction it goes on when you're installing it as it takes a puller to remove it.

        Hi Denny!
        Yes, the bearing fits in to the white plastic retainer ring. Then the entire thing goes inside the metal ring, and is held in place by the large clip.
