  • Q:

Does the side bars that mount to the door extend to the main hoop or do they mount to the existing B pilar tubes above the doors?

      A:

There is a T-section that attaches to the top of the roll bar above the doors and back towards the main B-pillar. Also, a bar runs from the floor up to the factory bar above the door. Finally, there is a dash bar that goes between the two front bars on the driver and passenger side. I hope this information is helpful. Thanks!

  • Q:

Looking to put a half top on so I will be cutting the back section of bar off, will this suffice or am I headed to the steel yard to make my own?

      Hi Matt!
This roll cage kit should work for the front section, but you'll have several parts of the kit left over if you remove the rear factory bars for your half-top project. Other than that, the front will work just as you expect it to.

  • Q:

Do the knuckles affect soft tops at all and how does the front part of the cage bolt into the body? Is there a straight bar that goes behind the dash and bolts into the floor or do the bars attach to the top the dash?

      A:

      Hi Papa Jack!
First of all, this top will still allow you to run your soft top. It won't cause any problems with raising or lowering the top. Secondly, The front part of the cage bolts to the 3 dash bolts along the side of the dash at the back of the door opening. Lastly, there is a straight dash bar, but it is above the dash, not behind it. It uses allen bolts in a clamp system to mount it to both a-pillars. If you have additional questions, give our sales staff a call and they can answer anything you'd like to know about this roll cage.
